Percentage of Construction Waste Recycled in Israel

According to Assaf, at least 50% of construction and demolition waste in Israel is dumped and will never be collected or recycled. One of the reasons he presented is the cost associated with disposing of this waste. Assaf David, VP of Industries and Manager of Hasira Recycling Plant, further lists ways showing how it is possible to recycle up to 95% of construction and demolition waste, particularly the mineral aspect.
