CLARITER POLAND ESTABLISHES STRATEGIC COLLABORATION ON RAW MATERIAL SUPPLY CHAIN WITH MAKPOL RECYKLING

Clariter S.A., a global cleantech pioneer, and Makpol Recykling announced the signing of strategic collaboration agreement, bringing Clariter significantly closer to launching its commercial operations in Poland. Under this collaboration, Makpol will supply raw material plastic waste to Clariter’s future commercial plant in Poland, providing security of supply with an optimal feedstock mix.
Clariter has developed a proprietary chemical recycling process that has the potential to address the world’s growing plastic waste problem. Clariter’s unique and patented technology ends the life of plastic waste by transforming it into high-value, clean industrial products including aliphatic solvents, white mineral oils and paraffinic waxes.
Currently operating a pilot R&D plant in Gliwice, Poland and an industrial demonstration plant in South Africa, Clariter is in advanced stages of developing multiple commercial scale facilities around the world. A Clariter commercial facility will recycle up to 60,000 tons of plastic waste and is designed to produce 50,000 tons of sustainable products per year.
